About this treatment

What happens during treatment

Step 1: Your dentist examines the teeth and discusses the options and materials.

Step 2: The tooth or teeth are shaped under local anaesthetic to make space for the crown or bridge.

Step 3: An impression or scan is taken so the restoration can be custom-made, and a temporary may be fitted.

Step 4: At a later visit the final crown or bridge is checked for fit and bite, then cemented in place.
